Before you can sell on eBay, you must first sign in to
your eBay account,
1. Click here to create a seller account and to get
started.
2. Build Youy Account and Get some positive feedback
rating, to do that you have to buy some items of your choice and pay for them
immediately.A positive feed back helps build your credibility and make your
potential buyers feel like they can trust you.
3. Create a Paypal account to accept an online payment.
4. Search for items like those you want to sell.
Read the listings. Take note of what sort of information or photos you find
most helpful to you as a potential buyer.
5. Take photograph of your items.Get a cheap digital
camera or a camera-phone, because with no photograph at all will (especially
for a new seller) lead most people to think that you don't own the item at all,
or have something to hide. Take
photographs of your item from every angle that you think someone will find
useful. Get photographs of any unusual feature, any defects, and so on.
6. Enter a
title for your listing. The title is the front line in getting your item
noticed. A good title will not only give potential buyers enough information to
know whether the listing is worth their time to look at, it will also attract
people searching for that items.
7. Enter a description. Give an accurate description
of your item without leaving anything because even it you try to hide it from
your potential buyers, they will find out after buying it which of course will
be returned as fast as possible with a bad feedback which will spoil your
credibility as a seller.
History of item:age, time period the item was
manufactured
Color, size, type or design
Brand name or item label
Is there any condition not shown in photos? For
example: “slightly worn” or “color faded in some parts.”
Is this item new?
8. Be honest and precise about the decription of your
item or items , very important.
I had a dealing with a seller sometime ago, the
picture and the decription were the very opposite of what we got, she has some
branded ladies suits jeans but what we got were old granny skirts and blouses,
they were returned immediate, my full money back and with the deserved
feedback.
9. Shipping: Once your item has sold and payment has
been received, be sure to ship it out promptly.
